This year, API RISE proudly celebrated 10 years as Southern California’s only reentry program of its kind, empowering API individuals and families impacted by incarceration. 

Over the past decade:  

• 90% of our members remain stable and avoid recidivism.  

• 85% report a strong sense of belonging, reducing substance abuse and depression. 

• We have grown from 0 staff to 7 staff and counting!

Our work bridges ethno-racial divides, fosters community, and provides vital reentry resources across LA County. 

Making freedom possible for current and formerly incarcerated individuals, youth, and families in high-risk situations.  

Offering culturally sensitive direct support, education, power building, organizing, and advocacy.
